Working girl
…meaning I got a job! A full blown, all out, daily grind, full-time job! I started yesterday with the I&C department. Now I can really say I am an ENGINEER, an instrumentation and controls engineer! Yesterday was the usual first day orientation, HR training which wasn’t too bad. Today was the real work. I got started on some sheet checking. Which is mainly checking new versions of P&IDS against old ones, and making sure everything was updated correctly. I got to print out some P&IDS on big ole papers. I even got to do my first redline markup today! I have my own spacious cubicle and a double screen computer! Oh, did I mention I even have my own name tag for my desk!
