Catching Fire
I just finished the second book in The Hunger Games series and I thought it was great! A few people told me the second and third aren’t as great as the first, but I thought it was on par. I was afraid that with the Quell, it was be a little tiresome to read about the games again. However, the setup of the games was pretty different that it wasn’t redundant. I liked that there wasn’t as much cheesiness with Peeta and Katniss as much as the first book. This is most likely because the Quell doesn’t take up as much of the book as the Hunger Games does in the first, and that Katniss is very confused as to what she really feels about him and Gale. The entire book lead up to the districts rebellion which was just talk at most points of the book. I can’t wait to read the conclusion in the next book, Mockingjay.
